STANDARD UMANNED DRIVE MOTORS WITH REDUCED STARTING CURRENT

The torque developed by the motor during acceleration is about 2.2 times the motor’s rated torque. Braking is achieved by switching power on the low speed winding, followed by a positioning stage, again at low speed, and a mechanical braking stage. Breakaway torques and currents are as follows: High speed: Ma = 2.2 Mn; Ia = 2.5% Tolerance +10% Low speed: Ma = 1.5 Mn; Ia = 1.5% Tolerance -0 +10% The braking torque for low speed is approximately 2.3-2.5 times the rated torque. Rated currents and torques are indicated in the respective selection tables.
